What’s involved?
6. Assist with all internal and external enquiries for conference & events
7. Actively work on the Guestline Database to ensure all information is correctly loaded, entered and chased to the system
8. Work with the sales and revenue department to upsell and convert pipeline business
9. Assist callers with all detail relating to hosting their events, advising on all aspects of the event process, including conference, meetings, training courses, corporate events, weddings and other special events.
10. Support with the co-ordination of the weekly function sheet meeting
11. To coordinate the weddings, social functions and party bookings, deposits plus admin.
12. To complete M&G with clients on arrival
What is needed?
13. Previous M&E Coordinator/Planning experience from a hotel or venue background
14. Experienced with either Guestline or Rezlynx
15. Ideally local to Birmingham would be advantageous
16. Self-motivated, proactive, honest and have the ability to meet deadlines as well as targets and planning schedules
17. Immediately available with no prior commitments such as holiday or notice period
18. Have the right to work in the UK
