Calex UK have an opportunity for a Video and Multimedia Producer to join our Stellantis team on a full-time basis based in Coventry. We create a multitude of digital media for the Stellantis brands: Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Vauxhall, Fiat, Abarth, Jeep, Alfa Romeo and Fiat Professional. Based out of The Stellantis Performance Academy, we look to create informative, educational, and engaging digital content for retailer training, internal communications, PR, marketing, and events.
We are looking for an individual with ambition, drive, and creativity. This role is ideal for a skilled individual looking to develop their career, working in a team with a depth of knowledge, skills, and experience. You will work on various projects, working to tight deadlines and liaising closely with the clients directly.
Our vibrant and progressive team work on a huge variety of projects, with the end production taking shape in many forms, the Video and Multimedia Producer could be tasked with creating event showreels, product videos, corporate communications, technical videos and much more. There will be a requirement to be involved in all 3 areas of content creation, pre-production, production, and post-production.
As well as creating traditional video content, you will also be involved in creating interactive video content and live streams. Interactive video content will involve planning out the edit to then be formatted into our interactive software. Live Streaming will be a mixture of rigging and de-rigging, operating cameras, pushing graphics live, vision mixing, audio mixing and directing.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
1. Videography
A key part of the role will be videography and whilst the creative aspect of the role is primary, there will be a need to remain inside company and brand guidelines. This will include consistent usage of all branding elements (e.g. opening stings, end boards, etc.), and work with different departments to ensure all videos are produced in line with the brief.
2. Production
Applicants must have an understanding of filming, camera operation, lighting etc. You must also have detailed knowledge of video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, using other Adobe Creative Cloud software is also desirable.
3. Creative
You will be responsible for the creative aspect of all content produced. This will involve the creation of storyboarding to support network partners in their vision of the final output and make suggestions / give direction as to how a project should be filmed. You will need experience in creating and following shot lists to aid the team while either supporting filming or editing.

This role requires the successful candidate to operate in a highly professional manner with the team and with our clients. Being able to communicate feedback to the team in a way that protects the existing positive environment by being fair and reasonable is a major part of this role. Collaboration is a key skill that we want to breed and grow within our team, so you must be able to stimulate this naturally.
Competence and experience:
* At least two years of experience in videography and editing
* Experience in creating and following shot lists/scripts
* Strong organisational and communication skills are a must
* Considerable attention to detail within all parts of production
* Must be able to work both as a lead and as part of a team cross – functionally and collaboratively
* Proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products, e.g. Premiere Pro and After Effects, and an understanding of video formats and codecs
* Experience with photography is advantageous but not essential
* Skill, precision, and judgment to ensure that all image and video assets created meet editorial standards and branding guidelines
* Excellent time and project management skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with clients and help them achieve their creative ideas.
* Experience with creating infographics is desirable
* A high level of self-motivation, commitment, and dedication
* Must have a full driver’s license and be comfortable driving large vehicles
* Strong at multitasking
* Strong written skills
* Comfortable with learning new digital applications
* Be willing to challenge where needed to deliver the objectives of the team
* Confident in reviewing and feeding back into management on internal efficiencies
* Have an attitude towards supporting other team functions depending on business requirements

Company Car (BIK)*
Example costings, based on a high-spec, fully electric Peugeot e-2008 GT: The P11D value is approximately £32,845. Therefore the annual tax payable by the employee would be approx. £130 per year (20% tax payer). Our Company Cars also include, Insurance, tax, tyres, breakdown cover and Windscreen repairs.
Place of Work
The role is a varying mix of ‘onsite’ filming in Coventry, offsite filming at various locations around the country, sometimes overseas and working from home. The variety of work we do means there is a requirement to be able to be on location at short notice. Additionally, there are occasions when we are asked to support with events out of hours (including weekends) both in the UK and overseas. Flexibility to accommodate is required.
