We are currently recruiting for 3 Pharmacy Technicians at the Bristol Royal Infirmary on either a Band 4 or Band 5 contract depending on accreditation/qualification.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for progression opportunities and to expand their knowledge, where MMT and ACT training are encouraged!

Main duties of the job
* Provide safe and efficient pharmacy support to the dispensary and wards within UHBW.
* Develop existing professional, technical, and clinical skills through continuing professional development.
* Dispense and check medicines within the dispensary and complete medicines reconciliation.
* Prepare pharmaceutical products and help meet discharge times.
* Provide pharmaceutical support to the dispensary and wards.
* Organize workflow and participate in the training/mentorship of new staff.
* Progress through nationally recognized accreditations in Accuracy Checking and Medicines Optimization.

Qualifications and Training
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Accredited Medicines Management Technician (Essential within 12 months of appointment)
* Accredited for Assessing or Coaching
* Accredited Checking Technician (Essential within 12 months of appointment)
Skills and Abilities
* Good oral and written communication skills
