About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Data Manager to join our Data Management Team. You will maintain the integrity and quality of master data within the Global ERP system (IFS). This role supports the Data Governance Steering Committee and ensures data consistency across all instances of IFS. You will work closely with the Data Manager to implement data governance policies and support the global roll-out of IFS Cloud.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure base data integrity within IFS.
* Manage timely and accurate updates to base data.
* Ensure data consistency to prevent duplication.
* Process Master Data change tickets accurately.
* Maintain global supplier and customer databases.
* Identify and resolve data quality issues.
* Develop and maintain documentation for data processes.
* Support data migration strategies for IFS Cloud.
* Assist in data governance meetings.
* Train local data stewards on data matters.
In terms of location, we have offices in London, Teddington, Bath, Bristol and Fareham. This role will work a hybrid pattern so a commuting distance to one of these offices would be ideal. We are happy to explore flexible working arrangements. This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in data quality. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and use your initiative. We value a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office is important, and familiarity with ERP/Finance systems is beneficial.

We are looking for someone with:
* Uncompromising attention to detail.

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to use your own initiative.
* Good Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office packages.
* Experience setting up customers and suppliers in an ERP/Finance System.
* A finance background is beneficial.
* Knowledge or experience of IFS is an advantage.
* Ability to communicate and train a diverse user group on both data setup and IFS system setup.
