We are looking for an experienced Receptionist / Administrator for Northgate Hospital based in Great Yarmouth. The role is a permanent position.
We are looking for someone to work 24 hours a week covering Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am to 5pm with additional hours to cover annual leave of the second receptionist.
Main duties of the job
To provide reception and switchboard cover Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm for Northgate Hospital.
To provide administrative, typing and data support to the service as directed by the Business Support Manager.
Administering the medical on-call and out of hours rota on a daily basis.
Welcoming service users / carers and visitors to Northgate Hospital, ensuring that staff within the building are advised of their arrival. Passing on messages in a timely way.
Maintain confidentiality within a busy reception area at all times.
Manage room bookings.
Responsible for patients' monies and petty cash for the site.
Use of trust systems and Microsoft packages.
We can offer a welcoming, friendly and supportive environment that puts the needs and care of our service users first and provides a responsive administration service to the Community Mental Health Services. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and knowledge.
Previous administration experience is essential. Full training will be given for the specific role and our systems.
