Role Overview
This role involves working as a 1:1 tutor with children and young people who require support in their educational and social-emotional journey. We offer flexible part-time hours to suit your schedule and occasional opportunities to take on remote jobs and online teaching assignments.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality educational support to students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.
* Work collaboratively with our SEN / SEND Support Team to ensure every placement is a success for the student and you.
* Contribute to the development of resources and best practice within our tutor community.
Requirements

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
* Enhanced DBS clearance (we can assist with obtaining this if needed)
* Ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times

You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE. This is not a self-employed tutoring / self-employed teaching position.
