An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist to start a new remote position in Somerset. This role is predominantly remote but could involve community work in Somerset.
Location: Somerset (Bridgwater, Wells, and West Mendip)
Start Date: 20th January 2024
Contract: Ongoing, Full-time (Part-time considered)
Salary: £25-£28 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Full time (but open to part time)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Physiotherapist with a specialism in Respiratory care to join a dedicated healthcare team in Somerset. This is a remote position with occasional community work required in the Bridgwater, Wells, and West Mendip areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Assessing, managing, and providing rehabilitation for patients with a variety of respiratory conditions.
2. Delivering care remotely while maintaining regular communication with patients and colleagues.
3. Occasionally attending community-based visits to assess patients in their homes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
4. Developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation programs for respiratory patients, ensuring optimal recovery and outcomes.
5. Managing complex cases and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
6. Providing education and support to patients and their families, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and promoting long-term health.
7. Participating in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing professional development to ensure up-to-date knowledge and best practice.
Requirements:
1. HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist.
2. Significant experience in Respiratory Physiotherapy, ideally at a Band 7 level.
3. Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload remotely.
4. Strong communication skills and experience in delivering patient care in the community.
5. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for community visits (occasional travel).
6. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and providing education to patients and colleagues.
