Working 07:00AM till 16:00PM or 08:00AM till 17:00PM Monday to Friday.
£11.44 per hour starting salary.
Working in a busy office environment as part of the logistics team your daily duties will include: Assisting and monitoring stock levels to recognise procurement needs. Maintain supplier relationships by identifying urgent needs. Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth running of our internal supply chain. Assist in the product Purchasing process. Supporting the team in pricing analyses, recommendations and opportunities. Independently generating purchase orders, with support and training. The ideal candidate will be a person looking to pursue a career in logistics and supply chain management. They should also possess excellent communication skills and telephone manner and thrive in working as part of a team.
Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word is required. Knowledge of Sage is also an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
This is a long term role with the potential for a permanent placement with the company after a trial period with a pay rise after 6 months.
