About the Role
The Geophysicist will be responsible for leading geophysical projects from initial planning to reporting. This involves active involvement at every stage, with a focus on quality and customer service. The Geophysicist will work as part of a team, communicating effectively and professionally with customers, the public, and colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Developing projects based on customer requirements
* Assessing and agreeing effective techniques prior to site work, with an emphasis on quality, customer service, budget, and program requirements
* Collecting and managing geophysical data, ensuring reliable repeatability and accuracy
* Using specialist geophysical software and drawing packages to process, analyze, and interpret data
* Preparing reports from factual through to interpretation and recommendations, with a focus on customer requirements and quality
* Identifying new ways of working to enhance technical capabilities and improve efficiency
Requirements
* Previous experience working in a similar role (5 years +)
* Relevant degree advantageous
* Full driving license essential
* Good physical fitness for site work
