PAY & HOURS
For our Area Support Manager roles, we offer a competitive pay of £34,000 to £36,000 depending on experience.
A full-time working week is 45 hours, 5 days over 7.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an experienced retail Area Support Manager to assist the Area Manager and oversee the daily operations of multiple sites.
* Experience in the smooth running of shops to drive and maximise sales and minimise costs.
* Understanding of how to identify sales drops, the potential reasons why, and how to maximise sales in our stores.
* Ability to lead the training, development & performance management of Shop Managers & staff, including establishing new shop teams.
* Ability to lead, train and motivate a team with a hands-on approach, including food hygiene standards, customer service standards, and improving shop performance and KPIs – This will include sales, wastage %, wage ratio, staff retention, and average spend.
* Confidence and enthusiasm, with a great work ethic and a positive attitude.
* Excitement to work in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently as part of a team.
* Adaptability and ability to troubleshoot.
What Skills do you require for this role?
* Must hold a full valid UK driving license.
* Experience in a Store Manager role.
* Previous experience with food safety legislation and the latest food safety regulations (preferred, not essential).
* Well-organised with exceptional time management skills.
* Excellent communicator.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Experience in people management and employee relation issues.
