Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Head of Continuous Improvement to lead our efforts in continuous improvement of machine design, cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, customer value optimisation, and innovation across machine design and working procedures. This role is pivotal in driving engineering excellence and operational efficiency within our organisation.
* Machine Design Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance machine performance, reliability, and safety, while integrating new technologies and ensuring alignment with industry standards.
* Cost Reduction: Develop strategies to reduce production costs, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to optimise material usage and minimise expenses.
* Efficiency Optimisation: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to streamline processes and boost productivity.
* Customer Value Enhancement: Ensure designs meet customer expectations, utilising feedback to refine and improve products.
* Innovation Leadership: Foster innovation, oversee R&D projects, and introduce cutting-edge solutions and best practices.

Baseline Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience in engineering management, with a focus on machine design and continuous improvement.
* Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
* Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with cost reduction strategies and efficiency improvement initiatives.
* Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
