Client Details
We are seeking a Facilities Manager to manage all matters relating to our buildings and grounds. This position will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe running of the estate and will report directly to the Director of Estates.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain all aspects of buildings and grounds, including but not limited to repairs, maintenance, health & safety, and cleanliness.
2. Advise the Director of Estates and provide recommendations on facilities management, improvements, and issues related to buildings and grounds.
3. Oversee and manage database systems relevant to facilities management, including Planned Maintenance, Helpdesk, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
4. Effectively monitor and manage financial budgets for the facilities management section, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
5. Ensure that all facilities and grounds comply with relevant health and safety regulations and policies.
6. Regularly assess and report on the overall condition of buildings and grounds, identifying areas that require attention or improvement.
