We are seeking a School & Events Porter to support all Academic & Operational Departments in the school as a Porter, and support with Event set-up/clear-down requirements in event rooms and across the school site.
This role is one of the first points of contact for supporting the school operationally. A central part of the role will be to ensure that a friendly and willing approach is offered to all parties at all times. Applicants should possess a positive, confident approach with the ability to deal promptly and effectively with enquiries and deliver high levels of customer service.
The normal working hours for this role will be based on working 1950 hours on an annualised hours contract over 52 weeks per year. For an exact breakdown of working hours, please refer to the Candidate Information Pack.
The school holiday year runs from 1 September – 31 August each year. Your annual holiday entitlement will be 36 days (28 and 8 bank holidays). Holiday is to be taken during school holiday periods.
