Sports Coach (Casual), Renfrewshire, Grade 3: £13.63 per hour.

The post holder will work closely with, assist, and take direction from Renfrewshire Sports Services Staff to fulfill their role. The post holder will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with other sports coaches and volunteers. The overall purpose of the role is to support and assist in the development and delivery of sports activity programmes throughout Renfrewshire. This role will involve working in a school and community setting; therefore, it will require work during the daytime, evenings, and weekends. The availability and pattern of work will be determined by the requirements of the service and may vary over time.
Essential requirements of the role include:
1. Holding relevant National Governing Body Qualifications (or equivalent leadership awards), particularly in Football, Gymnastics, Dance, and Outdoor Qualifications.
2. Being a clear and confident communicator.
3. Having experience in working with young people.
4. Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver coaching plans for all sessions.
5. Possession of a full Driving Licence and access to transport is desirable.
