Lecturer - ESOL (Evening) 40,170 - 48,357 (pro-rata) 0.08 FTE / 2.8 Hours Based at Stirling Campus Fixed Term to June 2025 The Department of Care, Sport, Business and Communities wishes to appoint an enthusiastic Evening Lecturer of ESOL to work with learners across SCQF levels 3 to 5 towards SQA accredited assessments. You will produce high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and deliver excellent teaching within the specialist area of ESOL developing new approaches to teaching, incorporating learning technologies. You will foster a strong learning focus and support student engagement and success, collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and learning experience. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally hold relevant professional qualifications and have experience in delivering ESOL related subjects. You will have strong organisational skills, familiarity with e-learning platforms and online teaching tools and an understanding of the changing learner demographics and needs. You should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with ESOL teaching methodologies as well as having a proven track record of improving student outcomes and retention rates.
