As a Site Supervisor, you will report to the Senior Project Manager and work within UKPN Services based in our Bury St Edmunds office. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £51,245 plus a car/allowance and a bonus of 3%. In this role, you will provide onsite supervision and management of complex CDM sites from the initial design/set-up phase to final commissioning. Your daily responsibilities will include managing sites with specialist contractors and UKPN Services direct staff, encompassing activities such as surveying, civil construction, cable laying, and associated electrical works. You will supervise the daily management of CDM sites to achieve high levels of safety compliance, quality, cost, and time targets set by the Project Manager. Coordination and organisation of all site operations will be essential to ensure projects are delivered with full consideration to safety, third parties/customers, and UK Power Networks Services policies, procedures, and standards. You will also monitor project documentation to ensure compliance, provide site progress reports, and manage costs to realise efficiency opportunities.

Ensure you meet the qualifications, including relevant experience in civil or electrical construction site supervision, an ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering, and a detailed knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. A qualification in Project Management and knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office applications are desirable. You must be authorised to accept Limitation of Access for Civil and Building works and issue task instructions in an electrical environment. Switching authorisation is an advantage, but training will be provided. Health, Safety and Environment awareness is crucial, and you should hold relevant qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Working Safely, Temporary Works Supervisor or Co-ordinator Certificate, Fire Marshall, First Aid, and more. A full UK driving licence is required, and you must demonstrate a high level of organisational skills and flexibility in working hours
