This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager/Associate Director to join the Transfer Pricing team of a Big 4 firm in any one of the following locations; Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff.

Role and Responsibilities
1. Work within the Transfer Pricing Team mainly project-based, involving multinational companies.
2. Help clients manage their transfer pricing risk.
3. Undertake transfer pricing planning and pricing implementation.
4. Coordinate European and global transfer pricing engagements with specialists across our global network.
5. Support companies through business change and value chain transformation.
6. Prepare and negotiate Advance Pricing Agreements on behalf of clients.
7. Assist clients with tax audits from HMRC and transfer pricing defense strategies.
8. Prepare transfer pricing documentation for planning or compliance purposes (including statistical analysis).
9. Manage project work and ongoing client relationships.
10. Win and develop work across all aspects of transfer pricing and value chain transformation.
11. Manage and develop junior team members.
12. Proactively manage a portfolio of clients and projects.
13. Establish effective working relationships with new clients and tax relationship teams.
14. Contribute to the development of personal and team knowledge.
15. Build a network of contacts through regular attendance at meetings.
16. Stay updated on local and national business and economic issues impacting clients and their industries.
17. Build business through targeting (internal and external).
Skills and Experience
1. Sound academic background and extensive experience advising multinational clients on transfer pricing.
2. Wider experience in corporate tax or related international issues is an advantage.
3. A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
5. Technical expertise to devise innovative and practical client solutions.
6. Proven experience in business development and marketing.
7. Demonstrable ability to organize, prioritize, and plan workloads.
