The Role
As a Senior Electrical Design Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality electrical design services across a variety of projects. From engineering feasibility studies to producing detailed design information and attending project meetings, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the built environment sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver electrical design consultancy services, including feasibility studies, performance specifications, and full design information.
* Produce technical specifications and equipment schedules.
* Attend client and design team meetings to provide expert advice and updates.
* Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on electrical systems.
* Utilize computer-aided design tools and design calculation software.
* Incorporate energy efficiency and carbon reduction solutions into projects.
* Ensure projects deliver value for money while maintaining the highest quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualifications: HNC/Degree in Engineering, Building Services, or Electrical Design, with membership in professional bodies like CIBSE, IET, or Engineering Council.
* Experience: Established experience in a building services consultancy, with a proven track record of delivering electrical design projects.
