We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Administrator to join Vuba. You will get the opportunity to work within all of our departments (Logistics, Sales, HR, Marketing, Procurement, and Finance) to gain an understanding of how each department works.
Hours: Monday to Friday. Shifts to be discussed at Interview.
Duration: 40 hours a week for 1 year 4 months.
Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
As an Apprentice Administrator at Vuba, you will:
1. Sales Duties: Supporting Account Managers with day-to-day management of customer accounts. This can include producing quotes, processing orders, tracking deliveries.
2. Procurement Duties: Purchase and keep on top of office supplies, create reports of suppliers based on quality, timeliness, and price, purchasing of raw materials, finished goods, packaging, and other materials.
3. HR Duties: Organise appraisals and reviews, conduct inductions for new staff.
4. Logistics Duties: Plan freight to ensure a smooth delivery of customers' products.
5. Marketing Duties: Work with the marketing manager and external teams to produce high-quality content and write compelling copy for use in marketing on our websites and social media.
6. Finance Duties: Raise PO numbers, produce finance reports, and update expense spreadsheets. Record summaries of transactions relating to company credit cards per monthly statements.

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Course Contents
* Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data.
* Produces accurate records and documents including emails, letters, files, payments, reports, and proposals.
* Exercises proactivity and good judgement. Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.
* Demonstrates good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms.
* Completes tasks to a high standard and applies problem-solving skills to resolve challenging or complex complaints.
* Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, manages priorities and time to successfully meet deadlines.
* Uses relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor, and report.
Your Training Plan
Training will be in the workplace. Training schedule has yet to be agreed. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Requirements
GCSE in Maths (grade 4/C). Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
