What you will do in your working day
* Assist in the preparation and plating of dishes according to the restaurant’s standards.
* Work with chefs to manage portions, waste, and ingredients stock.
* Support kitchen staff in managing dietary requirements and customer preferences.
* Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met according to health and safety regulations.
* Participate in stock delivery and waste management processes.
* Display initiative and participate actively in team tasks.
* Follow all company policies and operational procedures.
* Training and Development:
* The apprentice will receive ongoing training on-site and attend Middlesbrough College one day a week.
* Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the candidate will be awarded the title of qualified Commis Chef.

* Day release, one day per week
