We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious and highly motivated individual to join the acute paediatric operational team based at Colchester hospital. This is a great role for someone wishing to develop their operational management experience.
You will be responsible for the day to day operational running of the administrative staff to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the services.
As the Operational Coordinator you will work closely with the Service Manager, to ensure effective operational management and delivery of key performance management targets.
You should demonstrate knowledge of RTT and have excellent communication skills, with proven experience of managing a team.
This is a fast paced and busy role, you must have good prioritisation skills.
Alongside management of the administration team, you will be required to support the senior management team to continually improve performance across paediatrics.
• The Operational Coordinator will take full responsibility for the day to day line management of administrative teams within their Clinical Delivery Group.
• The Operational Coordinator will be responsible for providing Leadership to the administrative teams and ensuring that a high quality comprehensive administrative service is delivered.
• The Operational Coordinator will be accountable for monitoring, assessing and reporting on performance within defined service areas. This will involve highlighting any issues to the Service Manager and identifying appropriate action to be taken. The Operational Coordinator will also be required to attend all relevant performance meetings with their Service Manager and will be required to deputise in their absence.
