Job Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
* Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring timely payment of debts
* Process invoices, transactions, and expenses in line with company policy
* Resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
* Prepare reports detailing aged debt and credit control activity
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
* Work closely with the wider finance team to improve processes and policies
* Comply with all necessary legal standards and regulations
* Assist with other accounting projects as needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* A strong understanding of credit control processes and principles
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
* An educational background in finance, accounting or a related field
