Argyll and Bute Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent and innovative advice organisation providing holistic advice and support to people across Argyll and Bute. We are looking for a client-focused individual with experience of providing admin support in our busy Lochgilphead office, including support to those elsewhere in Argyll and Bute.
This role includes responding to clients contacting us by a variety of methods and assisting them in receiving quality advice from our fully trained advisers. The post-holder will also coordinate all office admin functions, including incoming and outgoing mail, emails, office supplies, diary management, and reception duties.
The successful candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and ideally have a track record of working with vulnerable and anxious individuals. An empathetic and professional telephone manner is essential.
Teamwork is crucial; the post-holder must assist colleagues with possibly competing demands. Applicants should demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, be well-organised, and proficient in using a range of IT tools, including case recording systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
Committed, results-driven, and supportive to the needs of others, the successful applicant will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and must be willing to follow and develop agreed procedures.
