Service Engineer- Temperature Control (Steam Boiler)

We’re looking for a Service Engineer – Temperature Control (Steam Boiler) that will be depot based in our Swindon site.

What you’ll do:
* Support Temperature Control (Steam Boiler) Business and Development – Assist with testing, repair, and preparation of Steam Boilers (generators).
* Assist with method statements and risk assessments for Temperature Control applications.
* Work with Service Managers to provide kit lists for enquiries as required.
* Assist with Service Engineer development.
* Support QHSE regarding Temperature Control related matters - Assist with written procedures, legislation, codes of practice and incident investigation.
* Carry out any other duties which are reasonable and within your abilities to support other areas of the business as and when the need arises.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
* You will have a mechanical and/or electrical background preferably with technical capabilities in power, steam boilers, and/or temperature control.
* A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent is also desirable.
* Hold Cert IBO or Dip BOM or be willing to train to achieve Cert IBO or Dip BOM through formal BOAS training.
* You must also hold a full, clean, and valid driving license and be able to work out of hours as and when required.
* You will have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to develop internal stakeholder relationships, and work collaboratively across wider teams.
* You will need to be able to work under pressure to deliver tasks on time, and to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
