New! - a leading Legal 100 firm are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor (2-8 PQE+) to join their expanding team based in Oxfordshire with hybrid flexibility.
This is a unique opportunity to join a national legal 100 firm and continue to advise across a broad range of residential sales and purchases with exposure to high-net worth transactions working within a collegiate and dynamic environment.
Real Estate is a main core area for the firm, and the residential property department plays a central focus in the firms offering.
Residential property is an area where the firm has an excellent reputation and a client base built over many decades. You will join a team and work closely with other non-contentious departments.
You will deal with high value residential property matters making for an interesting role with a caseload which will include, but not limited to; sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join an inclusive and friendly team, working with a wide variety of clients.
It is anticipated that you will have demonstrable experience of managing your own residential caseload and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
* Manage a caseload of files, dealing effectively with cases and transactions.
* Build credibility with clients and develops own client relationships through managing client expectations regarding options, outcomes, risk and timescales.
* Scope fees for existing clients
* Grow internal and external networks of clients, intermediaries and contacts.
* Build on personal and department profile and reputation by attending networking events, writing publications/ marketing materials and speaking at seminars.
* Take responsibility for managing aspects of projects that are delegated and meet deadlines.
* Support juniors in the team by giving technical, business and general advice.
* Ensure a good flow of communication to senior lawyers but also more junior members of the team
* Track progress against your own KPIs, meeting targets
* Support with budgetary management of client matters
* Apply all business processes and use resources effectively & efficiently.
* Understand the changes in the practice area/legal sector and the implications for the firm.

The successful individual will be expected to advise clients on all aspects of the buying, selling and re-mortgage process, including legal issues, finances and contracts and as more particularly described below.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience with leasehold and freehold sales and purchases
* Experience of leasehold extensions; re-financing & re-mortgaging; transfers of equity
* Able to work under pressure maintaining attention to detail and meet tight deadlines
* Ability to manage own files and delegate work to others
* Support juniors in the team by giving technical and general advice
* Proactive with commercial and financial awareness
* Excellent communication and organisational skills at all levels and a true team ethos
