We’re looking for a Lettings Officer, who will play a vital role in managing our private and mid-market residential tenancies; ensuring that all functions are carried out in line with current legislation while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a proactive approach, and will be responsible for advertising and allocating of vacant properties, tenant allocations, handling tenancy agreements, income collection, addressing issues that arise such as property repairs, anti-social behaviour, and compliance with health and safety policies. The post holder will liaise directly with our private landlords and will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships and ensuring a positive performance of the property portfolio, including the effective management of rent arrears and contributing to service improvements. This job is well-suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and has a strong understanding of letting legislation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping people. You will work closely with other Clyde Valley teams to create successful, sustainable tenancies and safe, well-maintained neighbourhoods. Key Aspects Of The Job Include Managing void properties: Advertise and allocate properties while ensuring they meet health and safety standards. Tenancy management: Carry out regular property inspections and ensure adherence to tenancy agreements. Income management: Proactively collect rent, manage arrears, and represent the company at tribunals. Customer service: Provide outstanding support, advocating for customers and maintain detailed records. Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and help develop performance reports. Partnership working: Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to support tenants and improve services.
