Job Overview:
The Finance Manager will carry out and oversee financial operation, balance sheet reconciliations, ledger and payment control as well as make improvements to procedures and monitor expenditures. You will be working closely with all departments and liaise with external stakeholders and reporting to the Deputy CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Microsoft Dynamics 365 system accounts are up to date and process timely transactions.
Maintain internal controls, as advised by the audit committee, to effectively manage financial risks and oversee expenditures.
Produce monthly management accounts, financial forecasts, VAT submission, payroll management, cash flow reports, in line with set budget.
Maintain & provide accurate and timely accounting records for both internal and external reporting requirements, including financial data to the CEO, the board of directors and other stakeholders, as well as coordinate with bank the investments portfolio.
Liaise and coordinate with specific committees, including auditors other statutory bodies, such as banks, pension trustees, and members, to deliver required information, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with financial regulation especially those set by HMRC and The Pensions Regulator.
Support membership activity and work towards securing sponsorship for key initiatives by working closely with partners and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant financial management experience.
Educated to degree level with an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience), preferably chartered.
Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a small team.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis and Pension schemes, with defined benefit or defined contribution.
Proficiency in financial software including Microsoft Dynamics 365, and strong knowledge in excel.
Excellent IT and presentation skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in non-profit, membership, or trade-focused organizations is desirable.
