Job Description:
Who we are looking for: State Street Alpha Data Service (ADS) is the data-as-a-service provider that is the backbone of the Alpha front to back strategy. We are looking for a candidate to lead our Implementation Practice Leads.
What you will be responsible for:
1. Be the face of the ADS organization to take the client through the Alpha journey/adoption.
2. Provide thought leadership to the client during the due diligence and throughout the entire implementation journey.
3. Manage the end-to-end Implementation of F2B ADP/ADS solutions to the client, starting with pre-contract due diligence, Business Requirements, Solution Design, Environment Setup, Development of Custom Components, Testing Activities, Go Live activities, and Post Go live hyper care support.
4. Manage at least one large client implementation or multiple medium to small clients concurrently.
5. Partner with broader State Street Application/Service Owners to provide solutions in support of new client requirements.
6. Collaborate with Alpha Service organization to enable the ADP/ADS offerings for Alpha F2B Clients.
7. Collaborate with internal technical and business teams to resolve data issues.
8. Support the defect resolution process by understanding the root cause of data issues.
9. Act as the ADS Lead for all implementation activities with stakeholders.
10. Communicate to all stakeholders on the status and progress of the overall Implementation Program.
11. Manage resources working on client implementation in a matrixed organization.
12. Collaborate with external vendors as needed for client implementation.
13. Manage the Implementation budget and resources.
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
1. Excellent communication skills across all channels and levels.
2. Excellent motivational skills and ability to influence staff in a matrixed organization.
3. Experience in Front, Middle, and Back Office services.
4. Business Analysis and Project Management skills.
5. Extensive experience with Financial Services data domains.
6. Proficiency in SQL.
7. Knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, and related tools.
8. Working knowledge in Azure cloud platforms and Snowflake is a plus.
9. Knowledge about internal and external integrations.
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
University degree in computer science, data management, or other financial services technical field with 12 years in data management, product, and market data roles.
