About the Role:
As an Art and Design Teacher, you will become an integral part of the Creative Technologies department, which encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including resistant materials, engineering, carpentry, textiles, food, photography, graphics design, and art. The department is currently undergoing an exciting phase of expansion and investment, making this an opportune moment to join and contribute to its growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver a stimulating, imaginative, and challenging Art and Design curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
2. Inspire and enthuse students, fostering a love for Art and Design and encouraging them to express their creativity.
3. Demonstrate high-quality teaching practices that lead to excellent student outcomes.
4. Contribute to the ongoing development and success of the Creative Technologies department.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Art and Design.
2. A passion for Art and Design education and a commitment to student success.
3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
4. Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental initiatives.
