On offer is a fully funded, industry accredited training programme which offers you an excellent specialist training in managing behaviours and Attachment Disorders on top of a Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare. This role offers clear progression pathways from Support Worker into Managerial roles.
This is a role where you will be working with one of the most reputable care providers in the area and will benefit from ongoing training and support to ensure you have everything you need to become successful in the role.
Please note, this role will include working weekends, sleep overs, morning and evenings so flexibility is required.

Responsibilities of the Therapeutic Residential Worker:
6. Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (including SEN or PRU schools, youth work, youth offending, children's social care - desirable as full training given)
7. Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.
8. Display yourself as an appropriate role model
9. Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience
10. Encourage positive life experiences for the children
11. Strong experience building report
12. Strong experience working in a team environment
13. Ability to communicate in a positive and open manner
14. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of others
