Project / Management Accountant Permanent Cradley Heath Salary: £35K to £40K dependent on experience. We are working with an established organisation who are recruiting an experienced Management Accountant. You will be responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis, reporting, and guidance to support strategic business decision-making. This role involves managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and monitoring key financial metrics to ensure the organisation achieves its operational and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Analysis. Preparation of the monthly management accounts, including balance sheets and cashflow forecasts. Preparation of monthly WIP calculation on current project expenditure, milestones, and revenue recognition. Analysing financial performance against budgets, forecasts and projects identifying variances and providing actionable insights. Budgeting and Forecasting Managing the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads, to reflect the company business plan. Produce rolling forecasts to reflect the progress of projects and adapt to changing market conditions or business priorities. Performance Monitoring Develop and monitor KPI’s to track overall company performance. Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency without compromising on quality. Cost Management Monitor and control overheads, operational expenses, and cost centres. Support cost-reduction initiatives and process improvements across the organisation. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify financial risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them. Collaboration and Leadership Work closely with Financial Controller, project teams, and other departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.
