* Good knowledge of TOGAF or other EA Delivery processes (preferably with formal certification) – supported by domain specific knowledge and certification e.g. SABSA for Security
* Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
* Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
* Detailed knowledge of the domain industry.
* Deep understanding of the architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices
* Strong understanding of underlying needs of the business and how own role contributes to these.

Experience
* At least 10 years in architecture and delivery roles - developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
* Ideally, 5 years in an enterprise architecture role - delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
* Ideally, a fair proportion of experience in business analysis or business architecture
* Specific professional qualifications at the level of degree or equivalent (e.g., computer science, management of information systems or similar).
* Deep subject matter expertise in the assigned business domain with good working knowledge of data, integrations and infrastructure.
