About the Role Rochdale Adult Care are looking to recruit to a brand new post of Equipment Co-ordinator to support the Community Occupational Therapy and Adult Care Commissioning Service in Rochdale. The role will include the oversight of community equipment provisioned to Rochdale residents requiring statutory review and planned maintenance. This includes moving and handling equipment and specialised equipment such as bathlifts, mattress variators and bed grab handles. About you Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate experience in dealing with the public, and be able to communicate effectively with the contracted Integrated Community Equipment Service. They will be responsible for the maintenance of customer information systems, recording on case notes and effective planning and prioritisation of statutory checks. Applicants will need to be familiar with Microsoft Excel. The successful applicant will need to be well organised, a good communicator and proficient in establishing effective oversight of the maintenance and monitoring of community equipment in Rochdale. Experience of working with vulnerable residents and their carers will be required and an ability to risk assess and prioritise workload. Casual users car allowance will be available as some home visits may be required. About us Training and support will be available from the Adult Care Commissioning Team and Community Occupational Therapy.
