Business Support Officer - Fixed term contract until 24th November 2025 but may end sooner Post No: 41128 Salary: Starting from £25,584 to £27,269 per annum Grade: Grade 3 Hours: 37 hours per week Place of work: Worthing Town Hall Closing date: 24th March 2025 Interviews: TBC We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and motivated team player to join our Business Support Team. In this role you will help to deliver an efficient and professional post room, undertaking all duties associated with its operations and providing general administrative support to other sections within Adur and Worthing Councils as required. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail and you will need to be adaptable to ever changing needs. Experience of working in a busy administrative environment and the ability to communicate confidently with customers and colleagues is essential. It is also essential that you can demonstrate numeracy, literacy and strong IT skills. You will be based on site as this role cannot be performed remotely. The successful candidate will be subject to a Basic DBS clearance and three years employment referencing.
