To be responsible for co-ordination and management of operational delivery, including the line management of Team Leaders, across the 0-19 Service areas to ensure efficiency, performance and quality objectives are met and to improve outcomes for children and families.
To have oversight of quality and performance information for specified service areas, ensuring that reporting into divisional performance management structures is timely and robust.
To be responsible for the services within their specified service areas operate within their budgetary frameworks and deliver the required efficiency savings.
To lead the service areas to make service wide improvements and developments.
Main duties of the job
The Service Lead will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services and integrated care within the Division aligned to the Trust's vision and values, and contractual obligations. They will be accountable for the performance management of the service and for performance improvement plans where improved performance against contractual KPIs are required.
The Service Lead will lead operational service delivery for the specified service areas, bringing together all component parts to ensure improved patient experience, clinical outcome, target compliance, and financial balance.
About us
This post is to lead the 0-19 Service teams within the Integrated Children's Division. This post is fundamental for leadership and clinical delivery across the 0-19 Service and recognises the complexity of the services delivered by the Division.
Responsible for clinical delivery of services to defined performance indicators including quality standards and patient experience.
Job responsibilities
The post holder will have a high level of autonomy and will work in a self-directed way within the parameters set for the post. They will prioritise workload and make the necessary contributions to ensure delivery of an effective and efficient service.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Professional Training
* NMC Registered Nurse and recognised qualification within field
* Educated to Degree level
* Educated to Masters level or working towards or equivalent experience
* Recognised management qualification, IHSM or equivalent
Experience and Knowledge
* Demonstrable sustained successful experience of at least 5 years in a management role delivering healthcare
* Demonstrable evidence of successful delivery of service indicators in a healthcare setting
* Demonstrable evidence of managing budgets delivering balance and efficiency targets
* Has demonstrable skills in managing change successfully in a healthcare environment
* Evidence of recent continuing professional development evidenced in personal portfolio
* Evidence of being able to work across all agencies
* Recognised as having an impact across organisational boundaries when delivering integrated care

Salary: £53,755 to £60,504 a year, pro rata
