Are you passionate about making a positive impact on students with special educational needs? GSL Education Bournemouth are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wareham.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and succeed in their learning. You will collaborate closely with teachers and other staff members to ensure that students receive the best possible support in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting students with special educational needs, both in class and on a one-to-one basis.
* Assisting teachers in delivering personalised learning plans for students.
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning outcomes.
* Working closely with external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
* A compassionate and patient approach to working with students with special needs.
* Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and professionals.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
