We are currently looking for a Payroll Operations Support to join our thriving Payroll team. This is a key position and is based at our Woking office.
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience within a Bureau environment.
The purpose of this role is to provide operational support to the senior payroll team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Supporting the senior payroll team with ad hoc tasks and analysis when required.
* Overseeing payroll workflow and ensuring this is kept up to date by the wider team.
* Generating reports for the senior team.
* Responsible for coordinating the onboarding of new clients, including gathering data and handing this over to the payroll processors.
* Supporting the senior team with marketing campaigns.
* Overseeing the billing of all payroll clients and ensuring all fees for payroll work are completed accurately and on a timely basis.
* Handling end-to-end payroll processing for a limited number of small clients.
* Assisting with pension uploads.
* Attending weekly meetings with the senior team and taking minutes to distribute to colleagues.
* Managing communications with clients regarding annual pricing increases.
The Person:
This role would be suitable for an experienced PA or someone who has been involved in the running of a small payroll team within a bureau environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Analytical skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Knowledge of payroll, payroll processing, and legislation is desirable but not essential.
