Job Description
My client, an outstanding business in the surrounding area of Weybridge, is looking for a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.
Hybrid Working - Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours a week
Key Duties:
* Calculating purchasing income invoice and accrual values using distributor statistics and supplier trackers.
* Collaborating with manufacturers and suppliers to confirm purchasing income invoice values.
* Generating invoices using bespoke software.
* Precisely recording invoice values on the Super Category invoice trackers.
* Performing reconciliations between accrued and invoiced purchasing income values, investigating discrepancies, and resolving queries with internal stakeholders.
* Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of purchasing income.
* Coordinating with Credit Control to address debt issues.
* Approaching tasks with professional scepticism and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
* Continuously reviewing processes to identify and implement changes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
* Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures at all times.

* Previous experience in analytical or financial roles.
* Working towards or aspiring to achieve AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications.
* Exceptional numeric and analytical skills, particularly in Excel.
* Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly commercial environment.
* Strong planning and organisational skills to manage multiple work streams within tight deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of communicating with stakeholders at various levels.
* Ability to analyse and evaluate large volumes of information and data from multiple sources.
* Consistent attention to detail and accuracy, delivering high-quality outputs.
* Ability to work with professional scepticism.
