Be part of a tight knit team responsible for the organisation’s planning, budget setting and monitoring of processes and ensuring they track with the organisations strategic visions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Setting, planning and monitoring of the organisations overall budget, including in year financial reviews and reforecasting
2. Leading on the creation and continual review of the long-term financial strategy. Working directly with the leadership group to make short to long-term scenario plans to help prioritise both spend and income opportunities
3. Leading and motivating a team of three direct reports, offering direction and input when needed
4. Keeping the leadership abreast of performance with monthly status updates. These reports will include ABC status, updated risk registers, and performance against targets tracking
5. Working directly with heads of departments so that the resource budget ties in with the operational planning
6. Leading on projects that require financial review, financial analysis and financial systems input
Ideal Candidate:
1. A Qualified Accountant with post qualifying experience
2. Experience in the implementation and/or development of ERP/Business systems
3. Experience of creating budgetary control systems and reporting at a senior level
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with key stakeholders
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Advanced Excel skills
