Motor Third Party Claims Handler
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Location: Haywards Heath / Hybrid (4 days from home)
Barker Munro Recruitment is supporting a large insurer, awarded for being an outstanding employer, to recruit additional Third Party Claims handlers.
In this role, you will proactively manage and efficiently process a portfolio of third-party claims. This involves informing policyholders of the claim process, managing expectations throughout, and providing the best service possible. You will review estimates/invoices, arrange engineering or outsourced assessments as required, review documentation, raise payments in line with reserves, and carry out a basic assessment of litigation documents while instructing legal suppliers and disputing cases when necessary.
As a Third Party Claims handler, you will manage claims related to highways, rail, street furniture, and property damage, outsourcing to suppliers when required. If you have a flair for investigation and delivering the right outcome for customers, this could be the role for you.
This role offers hybrid working, allowing you to work up to 4 days a week from home after completing the first 2-3 months. The company operates a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.
We are looking for candidates with experience in Motor Insurance claims, knowledge of FCA requirements, and fraud controls. Candidates should possess good communication skills and excellent customer service abilities.
