Are you a Maintenance engineer looking to come off shifts with no weekend working? This ambient food manufacturer in Wellingborough is about to undergo millions of pounds worth of investment with the introduction of a new line. Your role as part of this small engineering team will be to deliver machine maintenance with a focus on continuous improvement and proactive maintenance. The role as a Maintenance Engineer; Work to achieve a Safe and Compliant factory, while maintaining productivity and efficiency. Maintaining the Site Electrical infrastructure, recommending improvements and manage site adherence to Electrical regulations. Report and capture all works on site CMMS to ensure site KPI targets are achieved. Undertake Reactive and Planned maintenance activities on site. Develop and improve maintenance systems and procedures on site. Look at continuous improvement activities to develop site capabilities and equipment reliability. To participate in site improvements, modifications, and capital investment projects on site. Management of contractors on site and ensuring work is carried out to the required levels. The qualifications and skills required in this Maintenance Engineers role. Experience working in a manufacturing setting as Electrical bias engineer or similar role Educated to minimum NVQ Level 3 in engineering (time served Apprenticeship) or equivalent Automation - PLC, SCADA, Robots would be an advantage Experience with Instrumentation – Sensors, gauges, indicators Knowledge of current electrical safety standards and Practices You must be a team player within the maintenance department and overall Operations team and, the ability able to work on your own when necessary.
