Job summary Murdishaw Health Centre in Runcorn is looking for an experienced advanced nurse practitioner to join our team. This position is a full time position, Monday to Friday with the successful post-holder working collaboratively with the general practice teams, to meet the needs of the patients. As an experienced healthcare professional, they will have developed the skills and knowledge to allow them to take on an expanded role and scope of practice caring for patients. We are ideally looking for a nurse with a full MSc in Advanced Clinical Practitioner, but will consider someone who is working towards a MSc if they have excellent practice nurse experience. Main duties of the job Lead our Nursing team in managing chronic disease. provide care for presenting patient, from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. demonstrate a high level of expertise within the specialist service providing advice, education and support to staff, patients, their families and carers. be practising autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner within the designated speciality area to provide patient-centred clinical care. support new ways of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient-focused service, and will ensure the safe treatment, referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in their area. have responsibility for leading the on-going development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.
