The ideal candidate will have a proven sales background in the fenestration industry and have a sound knowledge of the trade sector. The Company Our client a windows manufacturer is one of the most established window manufacturers in the midlands area, we manufacture upvc and aluminium products for the replacement and new build sector. Our team is a mix of youth and experience who are motivated to provide excellent product and service to the customer. Working hybrid between the office, home and on the road you will report directly to our Managing Director, you will be responsible for all sales activities in the assigned area PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients Identify specific targets and activities. Generate and follow up on new leads. Identify sales prospects and maintain regular contact with these and existing accounts. Establish and maintain good relationships with current and potential clients with the aim to achieve minimum goal visits quarterly. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to the General Manager. Work closely with the sales office and estimating department to ensure timely delivery of quotes and other information and the follow up of projects through to close. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of competence with IT skills to include Microsoft Office as a minimum. Full training on the company software and systems will be given. Knowledge of construction industry with site work and contract negotiation skills. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic knowledge of sales promotion techniques. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. Work requires willingness to work to a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.(2 days on the road/ 2 days office/ 1 day WFH) Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics laid down by the company.
