Principal People are currently working on behalf of a leading Utilities and Civil Engineering organisation who are looking for an Interim Head of Health and Safety on a 3-6 month contract.
This role will be based near Cambridge with site travel within a couple of hours of Cambridge when required.
This contract will cover the H&S function for this interim period, undertaking both strategic and operational health and safety responsibilities while also being responsible for a small team of direct reports.
This is to be working as part of a progressive organisation, and they are looking for a strong communicator able to communicate effectively at all levels. This role is looking to pay a day rate of £(Apply online only)/day.
Key criteria for this requirement:
1. NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent
2. Health and Safety experience within Utilities / Civils / Construction
3. Be available immediately
4. Have operated at senior level positions and held responsibility for managing a team
5. Be happy to work a role based both at Head Office and site work
6. Be a strong communicator able to effectively communicate at all levels
