Financial Planning Administrator
Location: Remote/UK
Salary: Up to £27,000
Reports To: Planning & Advice Manager
Role Overview:
This role is ideal for individuals starting or in the early stages of their career in Financial Advice or Advice Operations. As a Financial Planning Administrator for a purpose-led wealth manager serving high-net-worth business owners, you will play a foundational role in the advice process. You will assist with administrative tasks to support Paraplanners, Advisers, and their clients. This position offers an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Advice and Advice Operations in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Advice Operations Team & Advice Team with daily tasks.
* Handle Adviser & Third-Party email correspondence via a shared mailbox.
* Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls, ensuring clear and courteous communication.
* Draft, proofread, and send letters as required.
* Organise, maintain, and update client files using Zoho WorkDrive.
* Sort, distribute, and manage outgoing and incoming post efficiently.
* Organise and maintain client records using Zoho CRM.
* Complete basic AML checks on client identification.
* Compile MI data into spreadsheets for Senior Managers.
* Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Shadow junior paraplanners to develop knowledge of financial services.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Willingness to learn and complete relevant qualifications (e.g., CII/CISI/LIBF).
* Minimum of a Level 3 qualification (e.g. A-Level, BTEC) – ideally in a finance, business or economics related field of study.
* Previous financial services experience is desired.
* The ideal candidate will currently be working in an IFA Administrator role (or similar).
* A desire to progress into a paraplanning role in the future would be advantageous
