Based within Housing Headquarters in Motherwell, the postholder will report directly to the Housing Performance & Regulatory Manager and will support the long-term development and growth of Housing employees’ skills and knowledge.
The postholder will contribute to the professional development of Housing staff, identifying skills and knowledge gaps in consultation with managers and Training & Organisational Development, to design, organise and evaluate training programmes and events to meet the requirements. This will involve researching and identifying the training required to deliver on the new working arrangements and liaising with internal and external stakeholders supporting the transition from current working arrangements to the requirements of the new generic roles across the service and the digital platform, cloud and workplace.
The CIH Level 4 Diploma (SCQF Level 8) in Housing or an equivalent qualification in a Housing related discipline is essential, as is significant Housing related experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, as well as experience in preparing reports, presentations and research materials is essential. In addition, you should have a proven ability to work collaboratively with a high functioning leadership team which values innovation and creativity and have a passion for creating solutions and a positive attitude to change.
The ability to travel across North Lanarkshire is an essential requirement.
