Purpose of the Role:
Worcestershire County Cricket Club is looking for a highly organised and motivated Commercial Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of the Commercial Department and help deliver outstanding experiences for our valued partners. This role will play a key part in coordinating departmental activity and ensuring smooth delivery of all matchday and non-matchday commercial activations at our iconic New Road ground.
The successful candidate will be the go-to person for managing key partnership requirements, coordinating internal workflows, and ensuring that commercial rights are fulfilled professionally, on time, and with impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Coordination:
1. Act as a first point of contact for selected commercial partners, managing requests and delivering a first-class service experience
2. Support the delivery of all contractual assets - including branding, digital activations, hospitality, and community engagement opportunities
3. Keep detailed records of all partnership activity, working closely with the Commercial Director to ensure everything is on track
4. Assist with reporting, including mid-season and end-of-season partner reviews
Matchday Delivery:
1. Take a lead role in coordinating partner activations on matchdays - from pitchside signage to concourse takeovers, giveaways, live reads, and hospitality branding
2. Liaise with internal departments (Marketing, Operations, Events, Grounds, and Hospitality) to ensure activations are executed to a high standard
3. Produce and distribute matchday briefing notes for internal teams and sponsors
4. Be present at major matchdays to host partners and oversee delivery of all commercial touchpoints
Day-to-Day Department Support:
1. Manage the Commercial Department calendar, team task lists, and internal communication to keep everything running smoothly
2. Assist with the preparation of proposals and presentations for prospective partners
3. Track hospitality and sponsorship inventory and update internal CRM systems
4. Support coordination of non-matchday events such as networking breakfasts, kit launches, and sponsor forums
General Administration & Reporting:
1. Maintain accurate digital records of partner contracts, signage maps, and activation trackers
2. Help compile data for board reports, commercial summaries, and marketing campaign reviews

Requirements
Essential
1. Proven experience in a coordination, partnerships, events or marketing support role
2. Confident communicator and relationship builder with great attention to detail
3. Organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple priorities
4. Flexible to work matchdays, evenings and occasional weekends as required
5. Passion for sport and understanding of the importance of sponsor value and fan experience
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital tools and systems
Desirable:
1. Experience working in a sports, events, or venue-based environment
2. Knowledge of sponsorship & partnerships, rights activation, and event logistics
3. Familiarity with Worcestershire CCC, the cricket calendar, or the wider sporting landscape
You must have the right to work in the UK or be able to independently obtain this by the start date.

1. This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week over 5 days. During the busy cricket season, you will be expected to work some evenings and weekends
