Overview
Working within the Planning department will provide an exciting mix of challenges and different thinking. You’ll be exposed to the full spectrum of Zenith capabilities and have the opportunity to work across all paid media channels. This Planning Director role will be refreshingly diverse, working across three core clients and verticals – Pfizer (Pharmaceuticals), Edrington (Alcohol) and Lactalis (Cheese and Yoghurt).
The Clients
* Pfizer: A global leader in pharmaceuticals, Pfizer is at the forefront of health innovation. The account requires strategic media planning to effectively communicate their cutting-edge treatments, vaccines, and health solutions to diverse audiences, including both consumer-facing campaigns as well as those designed specifically to reach Healthcare Professionals. As a ‘Power of One’ Publicis client, we work closely with our sister agency teams and Global hub to bring together media, data, creative and production to execute integrated campaigns in the UK that help fuel business growth for Pfizer.
* Edrington: Known for premium and prestige whisky brands including The Macallan, Highland Park, and The Famous Grouse, Edrington requires planning strategies that resonate with discerning consumers and enhance brand prestige.
* Lactalis UK: As a leading player in the dairy market, Lactalis offers a range of chilled dairy products. The focus is on crafting plans that boost brand presence and support product launches across the UK market, including support for fast-growing protein-enriched yoghurts, as well as established household-name cheese brands.
Responsibilities
* Lead, develop, and implement strategic media plans for the three accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and overall business strategy.
* Maintain excellent client relations and foster positive ways of working with key clients and internal teams.
* Development of direct reports to exceed their KPIs.
* Lead day-to-day output of the team, supported by the Business Director and Client Partner.
* Ensure you and junior team members deliver operational excellence.
* Be the lynchpin for media RTB’s to ensure best work comes together.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in a senior media planning role, within an agency setting. Relevant vertical experience a bonus but not essential.
* The clients we work with require us to work at a fast pace and alongside multiple stakeholders, so we’re looking for a positive and organised team player, bringing a can-do attitude and robust levels of experience.
* Client leadership experience is key, leading positive brand relationships and forging strong relationships with key clients.
* Manage and mentor a small team – foster positivity and motivation.
* Build strong and effective relationships with internal teams to ensure smooth running of the account, and help sustain the Zenith culture of collaboration.
* Leading media planning across online/offline channels, ensuring ideas are inspirational, game-changing and help our clients achieve their objectives.
