Warehouse Operative with Van Driving Duties
Location: Reading
Salary: £11.70 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30, Every other Saturday 08:00 - 12:00
Weekly Pay: Paid every Friday
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative with van driving duties to join our team based in Reading. This is a full-time position with a variety of tasks, offering a stable role and the chance to develop your skills in both warehouse operations and delivery driving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Warehouse Duties:
o Picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery
o Scanning products to ensure accurate stock control
o Loading and unloading vans, lorries, and containers
o Moving stock around the warehouse and ensuring items are stored correctly in designated bays
o Sorting products (car parts) and ensuring they are stored in an organized, accessible manner
* Van Driving Duties:
o Delivering car parts to customers across Reading and surrounding areas
o This will be on an ad-hoc basis, covering for sickness and holiday leave
o Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
o Ensuring the van is kept clean and well-maintained
o Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly
