More specifically: Understand client requirements and aspirations Conduct detailed reviews of designs, identifying shortfalls, information conflicts, scope gaps, build ability issues, risks and opportunity Formal and documented resolution of design shortfalls Prepare and maintain risk and opportunity register Coordinate between designers and sub-contractors to ensure they are aligned Specialising in Grade II Listed properties, refurbishments and contemporary new builds, each project requires meticulous management and attention to detail You will have To be successful as Design Manager, we are looking for a construction design professional with a healthy mix of the following: Education: Degree or equivalent in Construction or Design or a related field. Technical knowledge of construction design and detail Knowledge of the design process and programming Awareness of various forms of contract (NEC/JCT) Awareness of commercial control Understanding of CDM regulations AutoCAD or equivalent design software experience beneficial Attributes: Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
